Cnn
I have come up with a new name for CNN

Instead of the Cable News Network, it should be called Cable News Enquirer. Like the National Enquirer and the way they oversensationallize or outright lie to make for better reading.

Reason? Because of the way they have to over dramatize things to make for more interesting news.

Why do I say that...

Earlier I turn on CNN and they are talking about the fires out west. In the headline it says "Canada devastated"

Ahh do these people know that Canada is larger than the US? The fires are just one small portion of one province here that incidently is about 4 thousand miles from me? Canada Devasted? Come on get out a map, look at the size of this country, look where the fires are, can you hosestly saw "Canada" has been ""Devastaed"

Now when there are fires in California or where ever down there or a tornado, hurricane, etc...do they run a headline like "America Devasted"

So why do they do this? Do they truely have no clue how large this country is? Are they so hurting for a good news story that they have to over dramtize it like that.....CNN give your head a shake. You may have at one point been "The number 1 souce for news" but you are rapidly turning into a laughing stock and are loosing credibilty fast.

FOR THE CNN EXECUTIVES THAT VISIT THIS SITE OFTEN PLEASE REFER TO THE MAP BELOW AND YOU WILL SEE HOW YOU HAVE ONCE AGAIN OVER DRAMATIZED A STORY TO MAKE IT MORE NEWSWORTHY.........SHAME SHAME SHAME

Probably cuz.. if they say "Canada devastated" vs "Alberta devastated".. more of the American viewers are bound to know where they are talking about

In my old trucking days I have visited small towns in the USA located several hours from Calgary and yet they never even heard of Calgary lol

They live in their own little world in most parts of the US except for states bordering Ontario and Quebec.

I spent 2 years driving all over the USA and some of the people I have talked to (and I’m not kidding here) have no idea where we are located. Lol

And you know what? I like it this way lol

I used to know someone in Tennessee and I asked her what kind of history and or geography are taught to kids in school and she said “ 80% about the USA 10% about Brittan 5% about Canada and 5% about the rest of the world.”

Bloody sad for the kids, but then again it’s all part of the brainwashing that goes on down there.

To most American, America is the only country on this planet.

Actually, we are taught more than you think. 2 years of classes about US history and the rest is about the world.

However, each state has a different education system so I don't know how it works in other states.

Like Alex says, it depends on the state. I did 5 years in California and they taught us all the spanish shit that goes with that area. Incas..Mayas..that kind of stuff. But mostly American history.
People freaked when you told them we had roads and cars..just like them.
What? No igloos?

Lol..thats nasty
It's not their fault.. they've never been taught about us so they have no concept..no desire really, because they just dont hear about us. They are ignorant to the fact that there is anywhere but America..in most cases. Thats the way it is there.

Yeah..it was Max, TB. I was killing Bears outta season
