I ve been getting a variation of that one it comes in as support at microsoft. among others, even a McAfee update only its the Yaha virus.. and getting it like 20 times a day..
I ve sent a bunch off to sympatico abuse and they ve forwarded to the correct department but.. no replies on it yet
what a pain!
It's great that I don't have to worry about these things... and I don't even have a virus scanner. The last major Mac virus was in 1998, and that was spread on infected CDs.
Just checked my e-mail and had to delete another one. My e-mail is forwarded to a second account, I guess I have to block it on the second account as well as the first.
That Microsoft virus is proliferating. I was getting minimum of 2 a day from support@microsoft.com, which of course I would delete without opening. Now I am getting similar viruses from other people who have obviously opened their "microsoft" e-mail and it is now being sent to everyone in their address book. The last two e-mails were from known contacts, the subject lines were "Re: 45443-343556" and "Cool screensaver" and there was an attachment.
