I think he said got the h1n1 shot, didn't he? That shot doesn't contain regular flu shot, you need both.

I agree with MM, you can find some stories hidden in the newspaper (page 15.very small article...) about people that got bad reaction to that shot.

yes only the H1N1 shot. I didn't get that flu.

But this one was a bad one, the worst in a long time. Actually couldn't work for a couple days.

You know it's funny, the only people I know around here who have gotten sick are the ones who got the flu shot. LOL Ironic,,, I know. One had the H1N1 flu (verified by the doc) and the one who has been sick for the last week isn't verified, but both had the shot. These are both girls I work with... and then the customers who had the shot and been sick... amazing.

I've had a wonderful winter, nary a cold or a sneeze... well from the dust I sneeze. LOL

i don't think that's an indication of a trend deb. Both the people in my studio didn't get any shots, and both of them had a really bad flue, at least twice, bad enough one of them was bed ridden for almost 2 weeks.

I got off fairly easy in comparison.

I did not get any shots, lucky me..did not get the flu, I wash my hands when coming back from a store, eat 2-3 chocolates every day, may be it helps..but my hubby gets the flu shots and always sick.

It's all a crap shoot, but it helps if you stay away from crowds, as there is always some asshole out and about when he/she should be home in bed.

If I have to wait in a waiting room for a peep, and people are coughing, I'm heading for the car. Fast.

Just before Christmas, my hubby had to do some routine check up at the hospital, when H1N1 was in the news, you should see the head nurse there, coughing, sneezing, shocking and moaning - nice example to the people.

exactly. Getting the flu shot or not, doesn't make you sicker.

It simply immunizes you from the particular strain in the shot.

there were a record amount of people sick this yr at work & it didn't matter if they had the shot, or not. so whatever was going around there, wasn't the h1n1
