IE picture troubles

I have this computer set to dual boot with Win2000 and WinME. The ME side has a problem that IE will not show any pictures on any website.:nuts:

I already checked the browser>>Tools>>Internet Options>>Advanced>>Multimedia>>Show Pictures and it IS enabled.

I reinstalled ME hoping that would fix it, but nooooo, it didn't. :cry

Any ideas??:sad:

do you get the boxes with red "x"'s in them?
when you right click on them and choose "show picture", does that also fail?

Oh I forgot to say, I get the red x...yes,right click and show picture does work.

check this page out Nav and specially the part about Host's file..was a success for a guy running ME to get his images showing again.

Thanks Rem...sounds like the same troubles as mine. I'll test that later when I reboot to the ME side. :)
