I still like the win 98 se. But I just put XP pro on one of my
computers @ home. So far I really like the XP. Is faster, and whats
more loaded all drivers for every piece of hardware when I did the clean install. granted they are standard drivers but it sure beat trying to find drivers on the net for a quick install.

I am on the fast track to liking it !! played on the computer (my son's) today w/ XP. I have had only 1 program that gave me fits, and it was one of my son's cheap mummy games. Can't shut it off during a game and I have to ctl-alt-del to shut it down. then the
box asking if I want to send a report to microsoft pops up. Didn't take me long to find out where you turn that off !!!! But I am very happy with it so far.

Well I would have to say I'm a big fan of win 2000 pro.

I used win 95,98 NT 4.0 and now win 2000.

It's the best out of the lot in my opinion.

I used NT 4.0 for several years and was a little paranoid at moving to 2000 but it was the best thing I did, and would highly recommend it.

Cheers
:) :) :) :)  ;)

WindowsXP.

It works great and I like the features that allow you to customize your styles and boot screens.

My computer came with ME, so that's what I'm using and that's my one vote there. Poor ME. I don't have any trouble except have to reboot after my son plays Counter Strike. That is the only problem so far. It handles everything I ask of it quite nicely.

I love xp exceot that I'm a big gamer and some of the older games not formatted to xp exit or screw up some times like raimbow six and tony hawk. CS works and that came out before xp but whatever. All the newer games work so it's not too bad. Besides most of the newer games are better. the DUDE
