I have been using office 2000 on my old compute, on my new one I will be using Office XP. I will get the CD tomorrow or the next day when the store is open.

My question is, will my office 2000 documents be compatible with the office xp ones lol
Im sure they will but I just want to make sure.

I would love to be able to run office 2000 on it and forget upgrading, bit I guess thats wishfull thinking lol

yes..

Q. Will I have any problems sharing Office XP files with people running previous versions of Office?

A. Documents created with Office XP can be used with Office 2000 and Office 97 (with the exception of Microsoft Access).

Access users: Access version 2002 will use the Access 2000 file format by default. If you choose to use the updated file format for Access 2002, those files will not work with Access 2000.
