need help with a scanner, mustek 600 cp, scan express, just formatted and need to reinstall, always a problem, machine does'nt recognise the software,
i need step by step instructions in easy lanuage, thanks

Need to just install the software? Your computer has recognized the scanner (new hardware found message appeared when you restarted?)

For the software just put the cd containing the software into the cd player, there should be a screen something like "install software' click it any follow the directions.

If the computer hasn't detected the scanner itself, then you need to do it in the CONTROL PANEL go to the START MENU-CONTROL PANEL and double click the 'ADD NEW HARDWARE' iconand follow the prompts. You will need the scanner cd for the software/

done the scanner thanks, well my son so lets be honest about who did it lolllllll its an old one so not easy ta do he had ta down load new drivers but one question if it send picci's to photoshop 7(my software for picci's) can i save from there and will i be able to then save to my folders for my web site with out fear of boxes with red crosses(a real pain) when they are uploaded to the server,

the scanner will have ta go unless ya know how ta configure better pici's, the photo is tooo bright, colours all muxed up, really really horrible scanning, boo hoo

we updated drivers do we also update soft ware tb, did'nt know you could do that. thanks.
