a coworkers computer gets pop up windows on every webpg and has a banner ad across the top of all pages too.... how do I stop the insanitly!!
I've scanned with Ad Aware... found nothing.

try spybot
I got hit with the same thing last night and spybot seemed to have stopped it, adware found nothing where spybot found lop.com spyware

are the browser's security settings at 'medium'? almost sounds as if they are set to low..just a thought

mine are a custom level with many things disabled....how I got that lop.com is beyond me.

yes..'custom' is a medium level setting that lets you configure some settings..thats what I run as well

Look in add/remove programs for any "funny" looking programs that got installed.
