View Full Version : Clean up your address bar

You know how annoying it can be having a bunch of junk in the drop down menu on the address bar: sites you don't visit anymore, names you misspelled, etc.
I just found a free program that you can use that will delete just the entries you want to get rid of.
Now you don't have to clear history (which clears them all) or edit the registry (is dangerous in the wrong hands) to get rid of unwanted items.

I tried it and it works like a charm....*close all browser windows when doing it or it won't be effective until you do.

lolol...no, you won't have to relog. It won't toss your cookies.

It's just to clean up the address bar without having to wipe it all out. and YW...:D :D

i'm kinda wondering why you need a program for that.. i just go to preferences & click to Clear Location Bar

But, when you do that, it clears them all. Then you have to go through the process of retyping the ones you want again. That list can be long enough without it storing "oops" the misspelled ones. :p :cool:

cool little program
that way I can clean out all the chaff and keep my forum in there so I dont have to do a search on google to find it. ;)

thank god i don't have that worry lololol
theres times when living alone really comes into its own, i'd hate to have to to remember to rid cookies where i go, i'm in that many forums now since jmds, i don't think i know how to open my mouth to speak to a spouse anyway, take me through it lol what do you do to be verbal by mouth lololol....:D
i have got so many mailers from g/steck today i don't need to "view new posts" god i'm getting idle lately i'm currently using my keyboard like a wtf laptop lolol from a an easy chair lololololol
