Yaa I have copies of my docs and my favourites over on d drive all the time...never know when you might crash.
Actually I think I only crashed once and we managed to do a repair, retrieve the files then reformat.
That's when I learned my lesson hehe. Thought I lost it all for a sec!!

you can save them on a floppy or burn them to a cd
then copy the folder from there to your new computer.
and welcome to the board

- thanks, Bromy.
But do I have to save each individual 'favorite' onto to the disk? That would be a laborious task with the number of favourites
What I 'm trying to ask is if there is a way to file the jolly lot into a folder, then import them all with just a few key strokes?
Cheers,
D.J.
p.s. nice flag, Madonna!

This is how I ve always done it.
Insert floppy into a: drive, go to file and import/export.
The wizard will pop up (this is in xp, not sure what you're running or if its the same for win98)
then just follow the instructions to export your favorites to a:
go to your new computer and do the reverse. file/import favorites
