View Full Version : windows photo gallery
For some reason this just started to happen when I go into a folder with movies in it.. I also have the jpg of the movie on the folder. Now the 'windows installer' wants to reconfigure photo gallery and I always cancelled this annoyance,,, now I decided to let it finish and it wants a disk... I can't be bothered since I don't use this... how do I stop this from popping up all the time?

Is this some freebie you d/l'd, or came with an HP printer, or Vista?
I'm not familiar with it, but to get rid of the nag, maybe if you leave it off ...
Start button > All Programs > Start up
See if there is a select for the Photogallery. If there is, right-click on it and delete it. Then it will not try to start whenever you start the computer.
If it is not there, then:
Start button > Run > type in: msconfig
Click on the startup button
Look for anything that might be the Photogallery program and uncheck it.
maybe I'm not following what you mean, either  :D
