Would there be a way to copy all your pictures to CD (as backup) but since the images I have are too much for one CD... have the computer prompt me to keep changing CD's until all have been copied?

Most copying software will prompt you to insert another CD or will tell you before you burn that you have exceeded the limit but a DVD is the way to go if you have a DVD burner, I have a dual layer burner so I can put 9 GIGs on each DVD. :p

That's usually the problem I run into.. never have I been prompted to keep adding CD's.
I'll try a dvd & see how that goes

Using Nero. I don't ask for all images to be backed up at once. I am not actually doing a 'backup' per se, just copying the pictures. I copy 4GB at a time using the regular method of copying files.
