tin.. i've attached an image that says "there are 10 threads and 90 posts since your last visit"
if that is the area you are talkin about, it's the same as jmd's site

its related to when you log in & out, or get timed out

if you get here & there are 3 new posts.. you go away & come back before the automatic time out period (or before you've logged out), it will always call those 3 new posts new

if someone adds 2 posts on top of that.. it will show 5 new posts.. etc

does this clear anything up for you?

Yes, it clears it up, it's not right and it drives me bananas when it happens. It just happens randonly and ticks me off..... sorry I wont go on my rants, I had to tonight though lol

I went out bought a camera and printer (both usb) and my computer wont recognize them...seems there needs to be a cable attatched and a jumper adjusted to get my usb ports working...I spent all day trying to get the printer and camera working, and hooked them up to my old computer and they worked perfectly....

so I had to do some swearing so I came running to my admin forum to vent lol

We got it at Office Basics and also bought a 64meg card, and a reader http://www.sandisk.com/consumer/im.asp..it was only like $40 and it saves having to use your camera (and batteries) to download the pics. Geez the camera didn't come with a case though, had to buy that separate. That sux...

With the 64 meg card I have taken 105 pics on the highest resolution. Nephew monkeyed around and took a pretty good movie, too. I've never used it as a web cam but apparently, that's another option.

Tripod is a must, because when I turn the flash off, the slightest movement screws the picture up.
