AOL

I don't know whether this should go in here or in the Internet section, if a mod wants to move it fine.

Anyway, my AOL has a habit of closing itself. It doesn't just lose the connection, but closes itself. It usually does this not long after I have logged on to AOL, and after a restart (it restarts automatically, after an error message appears) it is usually fine. If it is allowed to restart straight away. But, it keeps doing this. It often happens as soon as I make a post. The post goes through, but it logs off straight after. It happens with sites which aren't forums, but not as frequently. Why I don't know. I assume it isn't the connection if it shuts itself down completely, and doesn't just log off, so what could it be?

Can I first suggest that you un-install aol and then re-install it.
You could be missing something and a new install might solve the problem.
That's my suggestion.
I think version 9 is the latest.
Is that what you're using?
If not, good time for an upgrade.

I do use AOL 9.0. I was hoping not to reinstall it, but it looks like I don't have a choice.
